The first introductory meeting of the entitled "Utilization of Glottic and Extra-glottic Airway Methods for Airway Management" accepted as part of Erasmus+ KA202 Strategic Partnership for Vocational Training and Education Projects sponsored by the Ministry of European Union Affairs will be held on March 12-15. The meeting was attended by Prof. Metin ORBAY, Ph.D., President of the University of Amasya which is the project owner institution; Ass. Prof. Arif AYAR, Ph.D., Principal of Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Healthcare Services Junior College; lecturer Aslı AYDOĞAN lecturer Arslan SAY; Öner NERGİZ, MD, head of Provincial Healthcare Office, the local partner institution of the project; Ass. Prof. Murat ŞAHİN, Ph.D., Head Physician of Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Education and Research Hospital of the University of Amasya; Nilüfer Tali, MD, Chief Physician of Provincial Ambulance Service; Özgür Dalkıran and Yusuf Sarı; Dr. Anett Radó, Dr.Lívia Demcsák, and Dr. Katalin Papp from the University of Debrecen, Hungaria; and Dr. Daniela Neagoe, Dr. Daniela Ciupeanu, and Dr.Taina Avramescu from the University of Craiova, Romania.
The meeting will include opening speeches; presentations of Romanian and Hungarian project working groups on the organization of healthcare services and emergency medical services and training in healthcare; situation analyses for methods used for airway management in Turkey, Romania, and Hungary; works on the preparation of booklet entitled "Utilization of Alternative and New Methods Used for Airway Management", visits will be paid to Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Education and Research Hospital of the University of Amasya and Station Units of Chief Physician's Office of 112 Emergency Medical Services and historical places will be visited in order to inform overseas partners about Amasya's history in addition to a workshop to be attended by approximately 300 persons.
